Kumaraguru Centre for Industrial Research and Innovation (KC.IRI) was launched in commemorating Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Memorial Day on 27 July 2017.
KC.IRI is created as a focussed Research & Innovation Eco System at KCT in collaboration with Industries for promotion of industry-specific applied research, innovative product development and advanced learning programs with following objectives
- Providing Research support to R&D organisations / Industry and consulting to SME/MSME Industries in this region.
- Industry supported Project Based Learning and Skill Development Training programs through Industry sponsored Competency Development Centres
- Develop Innovative Products to cater Industry needs.
- Technical experts and senior decision makers from Industry and global academia are in the KC.IRI Advisory Council to direct, guide, collaborate and support
