Tri-Sonic Wind Tunnel
A wind tunnel spanning subsonic, transonic and supersonic regimes — Mach 0.4 to 4 across 30–40 second runs for aerospace-vehicle testing.

FACILITY · CFD
Mach 0.4–4 · tri-sonic
The tri-sonic wind tunnel produces three speed regimes in a single test section — subsonic, transonic and supersonic — covering Mach 0.4 to 4 with test durations of 30–40 seconds. It supports aerodynamic characterisation of aerospace vehicles, backed by the Centre of Excellence in Advanced Design's CFD capability.
Scope of work
- Three speed regimes in a single test section
- Mach 0.4 to 4 test envelope
- 30–40 second run duration
- Paired with high-performance CFD for correlation
