Abstract:

Establishments such as businesses, education institutions, and organizations are developing plans to resume normal or phased operations during the COVID-19 pandemic. These plans may include an initial assessment to try to identify people who may be affected to limit the spread of COVID-19 infections. Temperature screening can be one part of the assessment to determine if a person has an elevated temperature potentially caused by a COVID-19 infection. The use of temperature assessment devices, such as pyrometer, oral thermometers, requires physical contact which may increase the risk of spreading disease.

During the pandemic period, with the help of student interns, KC.IRI develop the prototype called Contactless Attendance and Temperature Screening System which helps to measure accurate body temperature automatically. Barcode scanning, QR scanning, and facial recognition can be used to recognize registered users and stored temperature readings for each user on the server. We can set temperature threshold under the guidance of WHO and will provide a success/warning alert on the LCD screen with a buzzer sound. The system can store the IN and OUT time of users along with their temperature readings. We can trace the data log of employee’s working time and temperature readings on the website.

  • System is suitable for hospitals, hotels, apartments, residential estates, shopping malls, schools, restaurants and factories, IT companies etc.
  • It can be installed on gate entrance or walkway without gate control.
